PROTESTER who bit a police officer during a bizarre bid to "seize" Edinburgh Castle dodged jail yesterday.
Richard Bale was among 20 demonstrators who, on August 17, 2021, claimed they were taking back the historic landmark under the powers of the Magna Carta.
The 51-year-old thug seized hold of a security barrier during a standoff with castle staff, allowing his group to enter the building.
