29 ageing police stations could be sold after £128m funding plea

TWENTY-NINE police stations are at risk of closure after the single force warned of massive funding problems.

Jo Farrell, chief constable of Police Scotland, recently called for an extra £128m next year amid a cash crisis.

Deputy Chief Constable Malcolm Graham said the force has a large and ageing estate that is "no longer fit for purpose".
