COPS are being urged to work to rule by their union in a bid to win a "fair and justifiable" pay rise of 8.5 percent.
The strength of feeling among rank-and-file officers demanding "fair pay" was made public yesterday at a protest in Edinburgh by 20 off-duty officers.
The Scottish Police Federation members protested at Cosla's HQ in the city as the Scottish Police Authority, one of the bodies which sets their pay, met inside.
