NICK MONTGOMERY insists Elias Melkersen has a future at Hibs after admitting he's looking forward to welcoming the striker back to Easter Road in January.
Melkersen, 20, is in his native Norway on loan at Stromsgodset and has scored four goals in 10 league outings.
He also spent the second half of last season on loan at Dutch side. Sparta Rotterdam after struggling to make an impact at Hibs following his January 2022 move from Bodo/Glimt.
But Hibs boss Montgomery likes what he's seen in footage of the marksman as Melkersen prepares for Norway's Under-21 Euro qualifying clash with the Republic of Ireland today.
