Classmates in mourning over death of Carly, 14, after suspected drugs tragedy

CLASSMATES are mourning the death of a 14-year-old girl in a suspected drugs incident.

She was named locally yesterday as Carly Kilpatrick as hundreds floral tributes were laid outside her school and a vigil was held in her memory.

The Inverkeithing High School pupil took unwell at an address in the Fife town at around 2.45am on Monday.

She was rushed to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy and was pronounced dead there.

Carly's brother Declan Kilpatrick, 19, paid tribute by changing his Facebook profile picture to one of him and his sister. He wrote: "Fly high my angel." Police say they are treating the youngster's death as "unexplained".
