SHIRLEY Ballas has defended this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up from grumbles that some celebs are not famous enough.

The show's head judge insisted viewers "will get to love each and every one of them".

Shirley, 62, points out that last year's winner was Hamza Yassin, who though a Countryfile stalwart was not a big household name when he took to the dance floor Jowita with Przystal.

She said: "Everybody fell in love with him learned what and he did, and his love for animals.

This year's less famous contenders include radio DJs Nikita Kanda, 28, and Kadi, 40, and Love Islander Zara McDermott, 26.
