Olympic hero first nailed feat as schoolboy in music video

High dive Noah's 1st gong was out of Blue

OLYMPIC silver medallist Noah Williams’ success at the Paris Games can be traced back to an earlier achievement when he beat school bullies with a high rise dive in a music video for Deacon Blue.

Williams won silver with partner Tom Daley last Monday in the men’s synchronised 10m platform final.

It was the Londoner’s first Olympic medal at his second Games.

His first attempt at the 10m height though was when he featured as a schoolboy being hounded by a gang in the Scots band’s 2012 single The Hipsters.
