THE teenage victim of rapist Sean Hogg says she hopes "justice will be done" after prosecutors announced they are appealing his lenient sentence.
The girl, who was just 13 when she was attacked, told how she still does not understand how he was allowed to walk free from court while her life has been ruined.
Hogg, now 21, was found guilty by a jury at the High Court in Glasgow but was let off with just 270 hours of unpaid work due to WORE AT ACORDA him being 17 RAPE SURVIVOR,13, ON at time of the offences.
It sparked fury among women's rights campaigners while the victim, now 18, said she was worried the case will discourage other rape victims from coming forward.
Scotland's Lord Advocate, Dorothy Bain KC, has now instructed the Crown Office to appeal the sentence on the grounds it is "unduly lenient".
