Then he did the same to Will Fish, bumping the centre-back before twisting and turning inside the box to open his account with the goal that proved the clincher in a 2-1 victory.
"It wasn't bad, was it?" grinned the confident 20-year-old Arsenal loanee. "I think I got about 40 minutes. I was cramping up a little bit at the end but all good - a goal, an assist and three points.
"Nothing to complain about. It was important for me to get off to a good start at Motherwell.
