EATING planet-friendly foods may help reduce the risk of death from chronic illnesses like heart disease, research has found.  

Scientists found those who ate a more sustainable diet with more plant-based foods including whole grains, fruit, vegetables and nuts - reduced the rates of illnesses including cancer by up to 25 per cent.
