THREE British divers were last night missing after the boat they were on burst into flames.
Dramatic footage shows the craft rapidly being engulfed by the blaze in the Red Sea off Egypt yesterday.
Twelve other passengers, all Brits, were saved. The boat's UK charter firm said: "This is a very sad day."
The missing passengers remained unaccounted for last night, 12 hours after the alarm was raised as search teams continued to look for them. They had not been named.
They were among 29 passengers and crew, including 12 fellow UK citizens on the boat, called Hurricane, which caught fire in the Red Sea off Egypt.
Witness Ahmed Maher, a diving manager in Marsa Shagra village said: "We saw smoke from the boat, it was around six miles from the beach. A nearby boat rescued them and dropped them off."
Hurricane had left Port Ghalib on June 6.
