SNP MSPs & MPs are scared to talk about gender Bill

JOANNA Cherry has claimed some of her SNP colleagues are "afraid" to criticise gender reforms because they prefer a "quiet life".

The Edinburgh MP spoke out today after a leading Fringe festival venue faced a mounting backlash after cancelling her planned talk show in August amid a row about trans rights.

Management at The Stand pulled the plug last weekend after staff said they did not want to work at an event featuring Cherry.

The SNP MP is a leading critic of the Scottish Government's gender recognition reform legislation, which hinges on allowing people to legally self-identify their gender more easily.
