BILLY Connolly has admitted he made "ridiculous" diva-like demands when on tour.
The comedy legend told how he was not an easy person to be around and would insist that even the most basic tasks were carried out for him.
Connolly said his road manager had to wake him up in the morning by prodding him with a broom because he was prone to lashing out violently in his sleep.
His roadie also had to pack all his clothes and bring room service to him at hotels because he didn't want waiters to see inside his room.
