STUART KETTLEWELL reckons the Premiership's wild winter fixture list is putting players at risk.
And the Motherwell boss has also called on football chiefs to clamp down on dangerous rugby style challenges. Kettlewell has backed up Jim Goodwin after the Dundee United manager slammed the amount of games on the slate with teams forced to play seven matches in just 21 days.
The Fir Park men were at Rugby Park on Wednesday on the back of the festive four match frenzy and head to Hibs tomorrow.
Kettlewell said: "I don't get it. I don't think we had to squeeze that one in amongst all of this. We've had plenty of muscle injuries and I thought we looked a wee bit tired and our reflexes and our reactions were a wee bit slow.
