ARBROATH v INVERNESS
TODAY, 3PM, GAYFIELD
DUNCAN FERGUSON didn't score many for Rangers.
But the new Inverness manager admits he had forgotten about the day he hit a hat-trick against Arbroath.
In a League Cup tie on August 17, 1994, a powerful Ibrox side featuring the likes of Richard Gough, Basile Boli and Ian Durrant won 6-1.
Ferguson scored three goals, Mark Hateley twice and Stuart McCall the other.
That was three of the five Rangers goals big Dunc tucked away during a tumultuous year at Ibrox. He said: "I can't really remember being at Arbroath's ground but my dad just said to me I actually played there for Rangers many years ago.
