There are numerous accounts operating in Scotland which share their activities on social media platforms.

Their main objective is to target suspected paedophiles online.

The groups often use decoy profiles, posing as children to speak to suspected sex offenders online. Conversations can sometimes last for months as group members gather evidence to expose criminality.
