STEVEN GERRARD will always be remembered as the man who led Rangers to title No.55 but he's adamant it was very much a team effort from the boardroom all the way down to the cleaning and catering staff.
The 2020-21 Premiership crown was the big one for everyone connected with the Ibrox giants.
It saw the Light Blues end their long wait for league success and it also stopped Celtic's 10-in-a-row charge dead in its tracks.
It has been the highlight of Gerrard's managerial career so far and he admits it's took a united effort, with everyone at the club and the fans in the stands pulling together for glory.
Gerrard, who left for Aston Villa the following season, said: "When you achieve anything it is a process, a journey and no matter what anyone says, it's never about one individual.
"I and everyone in my coaching staff played our part in achieving Rangers' 55th title.
"But huge credit is also due to sporting directors Mark Allen and Ross Wilson, the incredible supporters, the people in the background - our kitman, Jimmy Bell, for example, and the people working in the canteen and cleaning the dressing room- and the board.
"It is important to recognise the 55 wasn't down to one individual. It was down to a huge team of people who came together to play a crucial part in the club reclaiming success"
The 42-year-old's only trophy in three years at the helm was that title success but he also rebuilt Rangers' reputation in Europe. On his watch they got into the group stage of the Europa League then advanced to the knockout stages.
