AN SNP MP has slammed Suella Braverman for "leaving many thousands of people in limbo" after the asylum backlog hit record highs.
Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley said the Tory Home Secretary was spending too much time "criminalising vulnerable people who travel to the UK on small boats" rather than "investing more resources into clearing the backlog".
Crawley highlighted increasing waiting times for Home Office decisions in a letter to Braverman.
