FAMILY HIT OUT AT SUNAK
THE brother of a Scot who has been detained without trial for six years in India has slammed Rishi Sunak for failing to “stand up” for him.
Sikh blogger Jagtar Singh Johal was in Punjab, in northern India, for his wedding in 2017 when his family said he was arrested and bundled into an unmarked car.
The Dumbarton man said he has been tortured with methods including electric shocks.
He faces the death penalty over his activism and campaigning for Sikh human rights.
