LEWIS HALL is hoping he will have the chance to repay the faith boss Eddie Howe has shown in him this season.
That will largely depend on Newcastle being able to keep Howe out of the clutches of the FA, who are linked with wanting the Toon boss to succeed Gareth Southgate as the new England manager.
Hall said over the weekend that he and his team-mates "are desperate for Howe to stay and be our manager".
The 19-year-old left-back admits he had a tough introduction to life at St James' Park last term, initially on loan from boyhood club Chelsea.
