MY GRANDSONS INTRODUCED ME TO MICHAEL JACKSON, JUSTIN BIEBER AND BTS: USTAD AMJAD ALI KHAN

One might think that sarod virtuoso Ustad Amjad Ali Khan lives and breathes Hindustani classical music alone. But he also loves listening to Western classical, including (artists) Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Handel, among others.

He says, "A couple of years ago, my grandsons (Abeer Ali Bangash and Zohaan Ali Bangash) listened to music by (singers) Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber and BTS. They introduced me to them, and football, too."
