In-camera trial in Bengal doc’s rape-murder case commences

The in-camera trial in the August 9 rape and murder case of a 31-year-old doctor commenced in a Kolkata court on Monday, three months after the medic's body was found inside the state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The proceedings were held at the court of additional district and sessions judge Anirban Das.

Sanjay Roy, who is named as the principal suspect in the first charge sheet of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), was brought to the Sealdah court around noon amid tight security.
