THE SURVIVOR ALLEGED THAT ONE OF THE TEACHERS HELD HER CAPTIVE AT HIS FLAT WHERE HE RAPED HER MULTIPLE TIMES

The Kanpur police have arrested two men, both teachers at a prominent coaching institute in the city, for allegedly holding a NEET aspirant hostage for six months and raping her when she was a minor, officials said on Saturday.

The girl, who was 17 years old at the time of the incident, moved to Kanpur from Fatehpur to prepare for the exams for admission to medical colleges.

Assistant commissioner of police (Kalyanpur) Abhishek Pandey said the case was registered on Friday after she approached the Kalyanpur police station.
