Dr. Iseult Sheehan, of Allergy Ireland, said people with hayfever, experience some of the same symptoms as patients with coronavirus.
She said: "A runny or blocked-up nose or sinus symptoms or reduced sense of smell and taste go with Covid-19; people with hayfever will also experience those symptoms.
