Lewis is in shadow of 'the best'

LEWIS HAMILTON faces an uphill struggle to ever reach the F1 summit again - because Max Verstappen will be ruling the sport for many years to come.

That's the view of Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko, who saw Verstappen follow up his controversial 2021 triumph with a straightforward victory in 2022, as his team dominated the season.

Marko, who helped promote Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel to the Red Bull team, in his role of head of the junior drivers' programme, said: "Max is the best driver by far at this moment in F1.
