The Today FM radio and telly star revealed the childhood sweethearts will tie the knot in September in Adare.
More than 80,000 Limerick and Kilkenny fans will descend on Croke Park for the All-Ireland Hurling final with John Kiely’s men bidding for four-in-a-row.
But the Cats – who have lifted the Liam MacCarthy Cup a record 36 times – will be hoping to break their duck and reclaim the form that saw them beat Galway in 2015.
Louise said it will be a “double celebration” for her and Declan ahead of their nuptials if the team is victorious – making them just the third team to win four-in-a-row along with Cork and Kilkenny.
Louise, 29, told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “It will be the icing on the cake if Limerick win.
“I guess it would just be gorgeous on the lead up, what better way to start our married life together.”
