GARY O'NEIL has taken on an "impossible job" as he will need a "miracle" to keep troubled Wolves in the Premier League.
So says Wanderers legend Kenny Hibbitt, who can't see a "light at the end of the tunnel" after a tumultuous summer that resulted in Julen Lopetegui quitting just nine months after taking over as head coach.
Lopetegui's (below right) exit was confirmed less than a week before Wolves start their Premier League campaign with a daunting trip to Manchester United tomorrow.
The former Spain and Real Madrid boss became increasingly disgruntled after seeing the likes of Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins, Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho depart, with Matt Doherty and back-up goalkeeper Tom King the only arrivals.
