In Ekta Vihar Society, located in Ward No. 5 of Baltana area, residents had been facing significant challenges due to the presence of an electricity transformer placed on a handcart for an extended period.

The transformer, which had been temporarily placed on the cart by the electricity department after a recent upgrade, was blocking more than half of the road, causing severe traffic congestion and difficulties for commuters.

The narrow road became even more problematic for residents, who had been demanding that the transformer either be moved or installed at a higher level to alleviate the situation.

The issue had been a source of frustration for the community, as it created a hazardous environment.

Due to the transformer's position on the handcart, there was a constant risk of accidents.

Residents voiced their concerns, particularly highlighting the danger to children who were not allowed to play freely in the area due to the risk of electric shock.
