FORM: LAIRD'S CHARGE HAS BEEN IN EXCELLENT FORM SINCE MOVING UP FROM THE CAPE
A number of the runners taking their places in tomorrow's Grade 3 Betway Victory Moon Stakes over 1800m at Turffontein will either be looking to running well enough to still qualify for the Betway Summer Cup or are using it as their final warm-up for the R6-million race on 30 November.
Of the Victory Moon runners, all of Main Defender, Purple Pitcher, Puerto Manzano, Pure Predator, Atticus Finch, Future Pearl, My Soul Mate and Safe Passage are on the final log for a berth in Summer Cup although some are lying precariously near the bottom of the log.
The majority of the others are looking to win this race and in doing so book a place in the Summer Cup.
