An FIR has been registered against a Wing Commander posted at Air Force Station, Srinagar, on allegations of sexual assault levelled against him by a junior flying officer, also posted at Srinagar.
In the complaint filed at Budgam police station on September 8, the IAF woman of ficer has alleged "continuous harassment, sexual assault, and mental torture" over the last two years with the authorities at the Air Force Station looking the other way.
Going into specifics, the complaint cites the woman officer as charging that she was forced to perform oral sex on the senior after the New Year's party at the Officers' Mess on December 31, 2023.
