THE grieving mum of a young boy who lost his battle against cancer wants to ensure other children get a Christmas to remember.
After being alerted by his school to a unusual eye condition shortly before Christmas 2022, Jayden Lamerton was diagnosed with high grade brain tumour diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma [DIPG] in January and was given a prognosis of just nine months to one year left to live.
However, his family revealed in May that despite every effort, his health had rapidly declined and the six-year-old passed away.
