Frisco fury: why punish us for paying well in advance?
The Independent
|November 08, 2024
Q Months ago, we booked a cruise for early next year from Southampton to San Francisco, through an agent, including economy-class flights home.
-
That same agent is now advertising the same cruise at roughly the same price but with businessclass flights rather than economy. When we asked to be upgraded too, the agent quoted an extra £2,400. When we booked we were encouraged to commit immediately because only two cabins were left that met our requirements. Surely this is grossly unfair?
