THE dad of missing teen Jay Slater last night made an emotional visit to where his son went missing and sobbed: "I just want the boy back." Warren Slater, 58, was supported by Jay's older brother Zak at the scene in Masca, Tenerife, close to the spot where the apprentice bricklayer was last seen.
As the search continued for a sixth day Warren and Zak, 24, were joined by nine of Jay's friends. It was the first time his family had felt able to visit the area.
And it came as police probed an alleged new sighting of Jay - nearly 10 hours after he was last seen.
A witness told police they thought they spotted 19-year-old Jay at 6pm on Monday in Santiago del Teide - four miles from the rental property where he had spent the previous night.
