May elections key test for Farage

MAY'S local elections will be a test of whether Nigel Farage's apparent success with Reform UK is “built on hype”, a polling expert has warned.Tory peer Lord Hayward said polls suggested the party could win roughly 450 seats on local councils.

But he claimed Reform had a “natural ceiling” because many voters consider it “racist”, and so the party might not be as successful as it presumes.
