Not mulling SCCL privatisation, merchants of lies exposed: PM

The Centre cannot privatise SCCL because it owns only 49% stake in the coal mining company and it’s the Telangana government that owns the majority stake, Modi said, while addressing a well-attended meeting at the Ramagundam Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (RFCL) here. He also laid the foundation and dedicated to the nation projects of nearly Rs 10,000 crore

In a veiled attack on chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the PM said, “The ‘merchants of lies have been exposed. Witnessing such a large gathering here will give sleepless nights to some people in Hyderabad.”
