SHEFFIELD United boss Chris Wilder applauded match-winner Rhian Brewster after his first goal in more than two years ruined Neil Harris’ final home game in charge of Millwall.

Brewster’s 42nd- minute tap-in gave the table-topping Blades the lead shortly before half-time and the Lions were unable to convert the chances that came their way.

“It’s amazing for him,” Wilder told BBC Radio Sheffield. “I’ve talked a lot about his personality and his character and how he doesn’t want to be injured and on the treatment table.

“He takes all the headlines to win a game at a difficult place, especially when it’s a December Wednesday night.”
