When I received the package from vivo, it was a fun unboxing experience for me. Everything about it looked luxurious, from the packaging to the actual phone. Taking the vivo x80 Pro out of its box, the demo unit came in Cosmic Black and it looked sleek and out of the ordinary. It was packaged with the usual information packet and warranty card, sim ejector pin, earphones, phone case, and charger.
The vivo x80 Pro has a stunning curved 6.7 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's not as thin and lightweight as other vivo smartphones but it's not much of an issue for me. This smartphone has an aluminum frame and glass front and back that still feels sturdy, although it doesn't have Gorilla Glass. Its power button and volume buttons are on the right side of the phone, the sim card tray is at the bottom alongside the USB-C charging port, and speakers, the fingerprint sensor is embedded on the screen. At the front is the selfie camera and at the back is the quad camera attached to a slightly raised rectangular plate.

The vivo x80 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon and runs on the Android 12/Funtouch 12 operating system. Although it doesn't have a dedicated SD card slot, the demo unit we have has 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM. Its battery is a whopping 4700mAh with a USB-C 80W that charges your battery to 100% in under 40 minutes.
