A three-day itinerary of long walks, hot rasam, and mist at Tamara Kodai is the mantra to a good reset,

- Samreen Tungekar.

REST HOUR

AS THE CITY NOISE drowns behind me on a well-lit highway while the car approaches winding roads, I sigh, feeling like I'm on the longest road trip ever. And, well, I'm really not—the nearest airport to the hill station of Kodaikanal is just three odd hours away. There's a nip in the air as we go up, and my mind seems to drift off, as if letting go of the impatience and actually being present in the journey.

imageSuch is the energy of Kodai. With its granite cliffs and rolling hills, this hill station sits 2,000 metres above sea level.

As we enter the gates of Tamara Kodai, the air grows fresher, cleaner, and sweeter.
