But during the country ball, the blonde beauty shocked viewers and left Joe feeling heartbroken and confused when she made an abrupt exit from the series after admitting that farm life wasn't for her.

"I really did not see it coming," said Joe, 33. "I've always struggled with meeting people who want to live the same way I do."

Susie's shock departure has questioning left Joe rattled and whether he can trust his remaining ladies. "I'm just hoping that everyone here is being truthful with me," he says. "The farm is an extension of me, it's my life... I need a person to be open and honest about what they want and their intentions with me."
