Protect packages with a signature

When planning your delivery, ask the shipper to require a signature. The delivery person will have to hold on to your package if you’re not home, says law enforcement officer Rick Musson, security expert for Clearsurance.com.

“Just keep in mind that requesting a signature can cost the seller more to ship, so they may charge you extra.”
