Every year our Legacy issue talks about topics that affect watchmaking as a whole. This year, we planned the magazine around the topic of the humanities, more specifically issues of sustainability, inclusivity and diversity. Fret not, this is not going to be a kumbaya issue where we mope about everything wrong in the world, but rather, we take a look at these discussions through the lens of the watchmaking industry. This includes everything from sustainability in the manufacturing process to brands that are championing causes that help to save what is left of our natural world. All of this is framed on the backdrop of IWC's new Eternal Calendar which was created so it can theoretically record eternity.
