Shah launches central armed police forces' housing portal
In a move that is expected to raise the housing satisfaction ratio (HSR) within the central armed police forces (CAPFS) to 73% by November 2024 from the current 48%, Union home minister Amit Shah on Thursday launched the CAPF eAwas web-portal that will allow the force personnel to register online for allotment of residential accommodation belonging to any of the CAPFS, and track each stage of the process.
