Outrage at British taxidermist’s help for trophy hunters

TAXIDERMIST Will Mathews makes a mint from stuffing lions, rhinos and elephants killed by trophy hunters.

Safari hunters pay him thousands of pounds so they can display dead animals in their homes.

The floor and walls of Mr. Mathews’ workshop are covered with heads and trophies of beasts including a hippo, crocodile, baboon, and a roaring lion.

Animal campaigner Eduardo Goncalves said: “Mathews’ workshop is a grotesque house of horrors.

“It’s like a graveyard of the living dead featuring some of the most threatened species on the planet.”
