But Vernon Kay opted to take someone other than his wife Tess Daly to the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party last week: his daughter Phoebe.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter looked smart in a navy velvet jacket and black trousers as he attended the star-studded evening – a warmup event for the EE Bafta film awards on 18 February – with his and Tess’s 19-year-old elder child.
They also share daughter Amber, 15, and usually make sure to keep their family life separate from their jobs, rarely putting their children into the spotlight.
However, in October 2022 Strictly Come Dancing host Tess celebrated Phoebe’s landmark 18th birthday, writing about the occasion on Instagram alongside an image of her beautiful daughter: “Where did the time go? Our little Phoebe is 18 today! Wishing you the happiest birthday! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you. Love you to the moon & back.”
