The Supreme Court on Friday refused an urgent hearing on a plea against a Madras high court decision allowing the Music Academy in Chennai to present an award instituted in the name of late Carnatic icon MS Subbulakshmi to singer TM Krishna, hours after the HC set aside an interim injunction barring the academy from conferring the award.
