This month we celebrate those who create, whether they’re making art, homes or couture. Our cover star Robert Wun is one of the creative visionaries we spent time with in the making of this issue. Wun, who in 2023 became the first Hong Kong designer to show at Paris Haute Couture Week, returned to the city last month to parlay his craft within another art form, designing costumes for Hong Kong Ballet's new work, Martlet—that piece, in turn, was set to the music of legendary Hong Kong band Beyond. Wun spoke of finding his stride, refusing to be boxed in by other people’s expectations, and his enduring love of fellow Hong Kong creator Wong Kar-wai's films.
