After more than two years, people all over the world – myself included and, I’m sure, many of our readers – are looking outwards again. Travel is back on the menu,being out and about in the great outdoors is once again deemed normal, and urbanlandscapes are starting to look like their post-crisis selves. All that being said, the long months spent inside has left upon many of us anindelible appreciation for the finer points of homeownership. We were forced to focus on the comfort, function, and aesthetics of our own abodes, and in many cases the elevated standards of home décor, furnishing and interior design won’t go down anytime soon – if ever. So, for this issue of Prestige Indonesia, we’ve talked with architects and interior designers, owners of luxe furniture ateliers and more. For our cover, in particular, we’ve reconnected with Kezia Karin, our “It Interior Designer” of 2021 to gleannew insights into her collaborations with Louis Vuitton that really shone the spotlight on her interior design studio and, of course, how she approaches residential design. You might also notice a much-expanded Living section where we go room byroom, space by space, to cover a wide selection of top-notch products for every corner of your home. It’s safe to say that the general mood of the world today is: Get out more, but make sure that your home remains a sanctuary you can always come back to.
