The Trouble With Girls starred the performer as the new manager of a traveling show who gets caught up in a murder mystery in a small lowa town.

This 1972 documentary followed the singer at his peak during a 15-city tour. A box-office success, it won a Golden Globe for Best Documentary Film. That's no surprise, as the film's creative splitscreen images were edited by future Oscar winner Martin Scorsese.
