PLYMOUTH Argyle director Nick Giannotti, a representative of the Argyle Green group of United Statesbased investors, has declared that whether they increase their shareholding in the newly-promoted club is down to chairman and majority owner Simon Hallett.
Argyle Green bought a 20 per cent stake of the club from Hallett last summer, which led to Michael Mincberg and Giannotti being appointed to the Pilgrims' board.
In the second of a twopart interview with Herald Sport's Argyle reporter Chris Errington, Giannotti also talked about his hopes of raising the Pilgrims' profile in in the United States.
The Virginia business based man has discussed Could we b owners? Ye: don't know whether Argyle could end up crossing the Atlantic for a pre-season tour.
Argyle Green's first season as minority owners has turned out to be one of the club's most successful.
How much of the credit are you all taking for that? My mum called me the other day, she said 'Nicholas, I can't believe you, you said when you got involved that this (promotion) was going to happen?
I said 'Yeah' She goes 'How did you know?' I said 'Because you can feel it, you can see it? We knew it would happen.
What was it like being at Home Park on Saturday to see Argyle win the game and all the promotion celebrations that followed and what it meant to everybody?
