THIS oil on canvas can currently be seen on display in The Box's 'People and Place: Art Collection Showcase' exhibition.
It’s part of a presentation of works, many of which have been recently acquired, by female artists. They will be on display throughout the year, alongside paintings of Plymouth through the ages and more than 300 pieces of ceramic, craft, silver, porcelain and textiles.
This painting is a portrait of Jacqueline Glanville. It was bequeathed to The Box by her, and came to us unexpectedly in 2022 after she passed away.
